What does it take to build Printed Circuit Boards?

MOKO Technology Ltd | Updated: Jun 25, 2016

Printed Circuit Boards
When it comes to electronics, printed circuit boards are used to mechanically support and electrically connect electronic components using conductive pathways, or traces, etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate. Alternative names are printed wiring board or PWB or etched wiring board.

Printed circuit boards are rugged, inexpensive, and can be highly reliable. They require much more layout effort and higher initial cost than either wire-wrapped or point-to-point constructed circuits, but are much cheaper, faster, and consistent in high volume production.

The two major stages for building a printed circuit board are:

    Printed Circuit Board Design
Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing ( PCB Fabrication )
